In life there is no time, there is no space, and there are no limits in living. Shakespeare was way ahead of his time when he said "To be or not to be. That is the question." Actually, that is the only question. We call the two labels for this "Life and Death". Why is it that in this body on this earth we have the need for the concept of linear time. Einstein proved that time is not linear with his model of the space time continuum. Still we have this illogical need to quantify and separate time into linear fragments. Perhaps the reason is fear. Without the concept of time the fear of being in this world indefinitely, would be overwhelming.
Most people in this world are afraid of what is popularly called dying. But people don`t think of the alternative, being stuck in the same body forever. For me this would truly be a terrible proposition. For me, what we usually call death is the transition between the unstable, dream-like material world and the stable, realistic spiritual world. Through the years people go one way or another, they either use their time and energy to support the grand illusion or to tear it apart.
The first option requires an ego bigger than life and the thought that we are in control. The second requires distancing yourself from the ego and watching it deflate, knowing that we are in control of our choices but not the outcomes. Life is more direction than destination. Looking for a destination without a direction is like a blind man leading a deaf man through a minefield. Because he is sensitive the blind man can sense the position of the mines, but cannot see his destination. On the other hand the deaf man can see the destination but cannot hear the directions coming from the blind man. Neither man has both senses so both men have neither. The apparent paradoxes in the material world are illusions created to protect your ego-self from the truth of its non-existence.
If the ego does not exist then who/what are we? We are much more than the possibilities contained in any ego. Who/what we are is the sum total of all possibilities regardless of what we call space or time. In other words, without limit we are everything and everybody. Therefore the only death experience is right here in the material world. The more alone and distant you are from other people and other creatures determines how profound your personal death experience is. The more profound the death experience, the more powerful the diversion needed to bring a person back into connection with life.
Humanity, with its civilization and progress, is pushing itself at an exponentially faster rate into the death experience. This is the reason for the extreme diversions and perversions in the world today. One person killing another is the ultimate diversion from death.
